Per’s Newsletter for the week of February 8th

Happy Friday everybody!  Hope you all had a great week, here are a few announcements for the upcoming week.

-Our school wide Book It! Read-a-thon is in full swing.  Each kid has been sent home with a reading log that has a column for pages read by the student and one for the pages read by the students parents.  At the end of each week we tally up the pages and then at the end of February we will add up all the pages we read and see how we stack up with the rest of the school.

-Come support the JCOS theater department in its presentation of The Sound of Music - Thurs., Feb. 28, Fri., March 1, Sat., March 2 at 7:00 pm and Sat. March 2 (matinee) at 1:00 pm.  Purchase tickets in advance for a discounted price of $8 for Adults and $5 for students or children under 12.  It promises to be a great show - live theater for less than the cost of a movie!
