Per’s Newsletter for the week of April 12th.
Hi folks!  Happy Friday!  What a week it has been here in the IA.  Our plant study projects were a huge success and it was a lot of fun to tour around the elementary and view all the hard work that other classes put into this wonderful project.  I have posted some pictures on our class website (www.persadvising.blogspot.com) under the “class pictures” link on the side bar, so make sure you check them out.
Trip Packet Information
Thanks to all of you who came for the trip meeting last night, it was a great showing.  For those of you who were not able to attend, see me for your students trip packet and I can give you any other information that you might need.  Our spring trip should be a lot of fun so make sure that we have everything we need so that your student will be ready to go.
Spring Conferences
Spring conferences are just around the corner (April 25th and 26th) and many of you have already signed up for a time to come in.  If you have not yet, make sure you stop by the table outside of the front office and sign up.  If there is not a time that works for your schedule available, let me know so that we can set something up.
Downtown Cultural Day
We have decided on a new day for our Downtown Cultural Day.  In order to take advantage of the newly opened light rail just down the road from the school, we have decided to make our trip downtown on Wednesday, May 1st.  If you would like to join us for this adventure, we are looking for parents who are willing to drive or travel with students to various cultural and educational locations around down town Denver.  If this sounds like something you like to be a part of, please contact me.
Thanks and have a great weekend, make sure you check the website (www.persadvising.blogspot.com) for more dates, homework, and information.
