IA 4/5 Spring Trip the Great Sand Dunes National Park 2015

We had an amazing time in the Dunes!

We went on some hikes...

we rolled down the dunes...

we slid down the dunes...

we rolled down the dunes some more...

we learned how to hunt wooly mammoth...

we rolled down the dunes some more.

 

We did some Graffiti.  Yes it does girls, yes it does.

We built a model of how the sand dunes were formed,

and then Ranger Eric helped us make a model eruption. 

We sampled the finest camping cuisine.  mmmm Chilli-mac

We reached incredible speeds.

And had some epic wipeouts!

We dug some holes,

and then got stuck in them.  (Don't worry, he got out)

All in all, we had a pretty great time.  Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to come on our trip.  These trips would never be possible without you.

We even came up with our own hashtag (#JCOSwashere)
