We all loved the guinea pig Chewy. Most people thought of Chewy as a class pet, Per’s class saw something else. We saw chewy as a friend. Chewy is not dead in our hearts or minds, and continues to be with us. He would not want for us to grieve forever.

Snow Day

No school today December 15th. We will reschedule our Ameritowne interviews for tomorrow.

We also had campaign groups had at work, preparing for Monday's speeches.

We had a blast with skate day this year, our costumes looked awesome!

Zombie Dash!

This year's Zombie Dash was a real Graveyard Smash!  Kids had an awesome time and it looks like we raised a lot of money for the trip fund!  Check out some of the action below!

Leif Ericson Day

Happy Leif Ericson day everybody!

To celebrate, we made paper longships, designed after the ships that the vikings used to make their way across the Atlantic Ocean.

It was very detailed work that required a lot of concentration. 

We got very creative with our sail designs.

We also watched a documentary about a man who tried to retrace the steps of Leif, and his father Eric, on their way to being the first Europeans to set foot on North American soil.
